It’s been a long time since a post has been made but I wanted to share a passage I read in my devotions a few weeks ago.
My son, be wise and make my heart glad that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
I am going to keep things short here (mostly cause I am in a rush) but this verse basically means, it is ok to talk to your parents. They really just want to protect you instead of make your life “horrible” or however you see it. I personally am in a pretty good relationship with mine so we trust each other fairly well and I can say right now that it is pretty great to know you’ve got each others backs. So if you have something you feel like your parents should know, just talk to them about it. You will be surprised how much they will trust you down the road.
Just a little something to think about!
I am a day late, I have been pretty busy lately with school, work and such. But I wanted to quick touch on how God blesses us. I know this has been said before on the bonfire blog, but I thought I would quick give an insight on what is going on with me so you can see it in a real life situation. So almost exactly a week ago, I had no clue how I was going to make any income. As a lot of of you know, I run a videography business, and it is very uncertain when I was going to get paid for my next wedding which isn’t until May. Then I got an email from a company I worked with last year and they gave me 4 more filming jobs and several more coming up! But that is not all God did for me, last night I was crunching down on some algebra and suddenly my phone rang. I opened it and it was from a client I did some work for a few months ago, who called me about more potential work! And to think, last week I didn’t know how I was going to tie off payments for the month, now I am booked out for the summer! God really does have a time for everything, you just have to trust that he is going to help you. Even though it may be a test, trust that God will always take care of you, no matter what your situation!
